The Land of Cheese and Chocolate

We're finally home from a fantastic trip to Switzerland! We visited our friends Pat and Tino and their 2-year-old daughter Anina, in the city of Basel. We first met them when they lived in California a few years ago, and we've been promising to visit them since we moved to Belfast. They hosted us, and fed us, and let us drive their car all over Switzerland (and even into Italy!). Here are some highlights from our trip:

We also spent a couple of days on the Swiss/Italian border at Lake Maggiore


And managed to make it across the Italian border for gelato. Yum!
